Located at 3380 meters (11,089 feet) above sea level, in the heart of the Andean páramo and on the eastern slopes of Pasochoa, a spectacular landscape awaits you. Enjoy marvelous views of the Cotopaxi, Sincholagua, Antisana, Cayambe volcanoes, and many more.

Essential Clothing and Accessories:

The páramo climate is cold and variable, so we recommend packing smartly:

  • Warm clothing: Dress in layers, including sweaters, a hat, gloves, and a scarf.
  • Suitable footwear: Opt for comfortable, waterproof shoes with good grip, ideal for walking on natural terrain.
  • Sun protection: UV radiation is high at altitude. Don’t forget your sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat or cap.
